Memorial Service for Jo Anne Murphy (Sept. 22)
Jo Anne Murphy, a long-time board member and dear friend of the Club, recently passed away. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Jo Anne rarely missed a Deadline Club board meeting or major event, even while battling health issues in the past year. Her remarkable enthusiasm and generous smile touched all of our hearts. Jo Anne was a past Secretary and Awards Dinner Chair, but more importantly, she was a strong pillar of support to the volunteers who served with her on the board. Her quiet dignity, wise counsel and charm will be missed by her colleagues and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, Sept. 22nd at the Salmagundi Club, which is at 47 Fifth Avenue on the corner of 12th Street, in the heart of Greenwich Village. All Deadline Club members are welcome. Please attend to pay your respects to Jo Anne. No RSVP is necessary.
