Get a First Look at NYC’s Hottest New Nightclub at The Deadline Club’s Free Mixer (Oct. 23)
Mingle with fellow journalists and media members at a free mixer sponsored by The Deadline Club, which is the New York City chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. Join us on Tuesday, October 23 from 6 pm to 9 pm at New York’s hottest new nightclub — The Cutting Room — opening this month at 44 East 32nd Street. Enjoy tasty hors d’oeuvres with a cash bar (there is a two-drink minimum) while getting a first look at the venue’s awesome music-themed décor, including a guitar-shaped bar.
This is a relaunch of a club with the same name co-founded by music honcho Steve Walter and actor Chris Noth (a.k.a. “Mr. Big” of “Sex and the City” and of “Law & Order” fame) together with Elaine’s Restaurant pal Josh Gaspero, a former executive at Reader’s Digest publications. Located farther uptown from the original Cutting Room, the venue will be continuing its old tradition of live performances by such stars as John Mayer, Cheryl Crow, Lady Gaga, Sting and Billy Joel. But on October 23, the headliner is The Deadline Club.
