About this event
Discover the history of New York City journalism you never knew with the Deadline Club’s upcoming walking tour, followed by an outdoor happy hour at storied downtown pubs in lower Manhattan. We’ll walk the once blood-soaked, ink-stained sites of Gotham’s journalistic past, travelling in the footsteps of Benjamin Franklin, Nelly Bly and Alexander Hamilton, among many others. Led by licensed tour guides Chris Barron and Michael Morgenthal, the tour will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 3:30 p.m., then we’ll amble over to an outdoor glass-lifting happy hour. Tickets are $15 for Deadline Club members and $25 for non-members. Space is limited and tour reservations are required. Please RSVP here. More details provided to registrants.
