Publish Without Perishing: Reaching the Next Level, from Commentary to Book

On September 27, award-winning memoir and non-fiction authors, top editors, agents, and contributors to The Atlantic, The New York Times, Slate, Smithsonian, This American Life, Vice and more came together in front of an audience at the Salmagundi Center for a special talk and reception, “Publishing Without Perishing: Reaching the Next Level, from Commentary to Book.” These experts revealed insider tips on pitching stories, provided insights on the ups and downs of today’s media environment and shared advice on getting started or going further in the publishing industry.
