Do you – or a reporter you know – have a great idea for an investigative or enterprise story on a business or economic topic, but few resources to get it done? Spring applications are now open for The McGraw Fellowship for Business Journalism, an initiative of the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. The McGraw Fellowships provide grants of up to $15,000 that allow experienced journalists to produce deeply reported stories on critical issues related to U.S. business and the economy. The Fellowship is open to freelance and staff journalists with five years of experience. No residency is required; McGraw Fellows work from their own offices. The McGraw Fellowships for Business Journalism was launched last year at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. The Fellowships are awarded twice a year — the first three Fellows were announced last spring, and a four this past winter. The deadline for the next round is May 15.
