The Deadline Club is pleased to announce the winners in the 2013 Annual Awards Contest, which honors excellence in journalism in 2012. This was our most competitive contest yet. More than 80 judges sifted through a record 500 entries from a broad swath of media, including newspapers, magazines, radio, television and digital media outlets. The winners were announced in the Annual Awards Dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria on Thursday, May 16, 2013. The evening featured a conversation with Gerard Baker, Editor-in-Chief of Dow Jones & Co. and Managing Editor of The Wall Street Journal, and Andy Serwer, Managing Editor of Fortune.
