FINALISTS
Winners of the annual Deadline Club Awards Contest are announced at the dinner. All finalists attending the event must have a ticket. Only finalists who are members of The Deadline Club may attend on member tickets; all others must attend on nonmember tickets.
REGISTRATION
We do not send tickets by mail. All tickets are held at the door under the guests’ names. Anyone wishing to transfer tickets must give the club the names of the new guests—and pay the difference in cost if a nonmember is attending on a ticket originally purchased for a member. Anyone purchasing a table of 10 should provide the names of the guests as they become available. There is no charge to change the names of guests sitting at a table of 10. It makes no difference if guests sitting at a table of 10 are members. Should you have any further questions, email awards@deadlineclub.org.
Members
Any Deadline Club members of record, who are current in both Society of Professional Journalists and Deadline Club dues, may purchase up to two tickets at the member rate: one for themselves and one for a guest accompanying them. Members may not purchase tickets for more than one nonmember, and the nonmember must be attending the event with a member.
Nonmembers
Anyone who is not a current Deadline Club member, including SPJ members who are not members of the local New York City chapter, must purchase tickets at the nonmember rate. If you are already a member of SPJ, you may join the Deadline Club at no extra cost. You must first be an SPJ member before you can join The Deadline Club. Contact info@deadlineclub.org for details on how to join (subject line: Membership).
TABLES OF 10
Anyone purchasing a table of 10 may seat up to 10 guests at the table. Tables can seat up to 12, but no other guests will be seated at a table that has been purchased in full. Anyone who wishes to seat up to two additional guests at the table must buy individual tickets for those guests. PLEASE ENTER THE NAMES OF ALL GUESTS AT THE TABLE. If you do not know the names of all of the guests at the time that you purchase the table, please email them with the details of your order to awards@deadlineclub.org (subject: Table guests).
All sales are final. The Deadline Club does not refund purchases; however, the tickets may be transferred. Any member wishing to transfer a ticket to a nonmember must pay the $75 difference in price for a nonmember ticket.
