Entries for the Deadline Club’s awards contest, which honors excellence in New York journalism, are now being accepted. The contest period will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19. Entries must have been submitted to our contest website by this deadline.

After the contest closes, Deadline Club judges will carefully review submissions to select the finalists in each of our 31 awards categories. The finalists will be announced in April.
Winners will be announced on May 10 at the annual Deadline Club Awards Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria, where each winner will be presented with a Rube, the club’s unique statuette designed in 1968 by Rube Goldberg, the “dean of American cartoonists.” Check back here periodically for updates about the dinner.
The 2016 contest covers work that was published or broadcast in 2015. All news organizations based within 50 miles of Columbus Circle are eligible to enter.
